Cari Chrisostomou Schonfeld is a born and bred Jersey girl! Growing up near the mall capital of the world and the bright lights of Broadway was the perfect breeding ground for her love affair with musical theatre. At an early age, Cari discovered her love of the stage, starting with a kindergarten performance of Kombaya and a 1st grade starring turn as Foxy Loxy in Chicken Little. She continued singing with choirs and bands, but her real love was musical theatre. After studying at Immaculate Heart Academy and Susquehanna University, Cari pounded the pavement and jumped from one theatre job to the next, working at dozens of regional theaters, on tours and on Disney Cruise Line, one of her biggest performance dreams realized. She continues to pursue her love of singing, Broadway, and theatre. Her first album will finally be released by the end of the year, a collection of theatre and pop music.
Cari is a woman of many talents and careers; she’s succeeded as a voice teacher, musical theatre instructor, concierge supervisor, a movie extra, a demonstrator, and a customer service manager. Every job brings something new to her life and she is grateful for all of her past experiences!
Cari is an experienced, elegant, and natural Wedding Officiant, having married hundreds of incredible couples. In 2011, she met her mentor, Celia Milton, who inspired and guided her to start her own business. Cari knows that one of her callings in life is to marry couples of all kinds in unique and special ways. She loves writing weddings, finding ways to personalize a ceremony and making it unforgettable.
Cari is a crafting queen! She has an Etsy store of her favorite crocheted and crafted items and will also be featured at craft fairs around the holiday season.
Cari is someone who values her friends and family over everything in her life. A self proclaimed domestic diva, she is married to a wonderful man, is best friends with her mom, and the highlight of her life is being a mother to the most amazing little girl in the world.
With such an eventful life, what else can she do, but just KEEP CALM AND CARI ON?
